Designer-Juniors Division

Responsible for conceptual development, design and execution of product line including the selection and approval of all materials, silhouettes, colors and patterns for areas specified. Interprets international/domestic concepts and fashion trends as it relates to market demands, company image and business strategy.
College degree in Fashion design or related field.
Must posses solid understanding of the mid tier market(i.e. Kohl?s, Sears, JCP and Mervyn?s)
3-5 years previous design experience.
Advanced understanding of garment construction (i.e., sewing, finishing, safety requirements, etc.)
Good organizational and communication skills both verbal and written.
Good computer knowledge; ability to design through advanced technology (Adobe Illustrator, Excel).
