Product Development Administrative Assistant

 Vera Bradley, nationally recognized manufacturer of the highly popular handbag, luggage and accessories line, is seeking a Product Development Administrative Assistant to join its Product Development team.

FUNCTION:  Provide administrative support for the Product Development Executive Assistant and Product Development/Design staff including confidential and personal information.

 

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (Note:  Other duties may be assigned)

?  Provide administrative support to Product Development Executive Assistant as well as Product Development staff to include but not limited to:

?  Prepare written correspondence

?  Answer incoming calls, emails, correspondence and faxes as requested

?  Sort incoming mail, addressing items as appropriate and prioritizing the items which need immediate attention

?  Maintain daily calendar and contacts

?  Assist in research of Product Development travel and lodging ? gift, trend and fashion & textile shows

?  General office filing, copying, shipping and other clerical duties

?  Packaging of product donations and gifts

?  Maintain filing system for Customer Correspondence and chart suggestions

?  Provide assistance with employee sample testing process

?  Other administrative and special project duties as assigned



 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

?High School Graduate.  Associate degree in office administration, business or other related field preferred.

?  1-3 years experience working in an office.  Administrative support experience preferred.

?  Strong PC skills utilizing Microsoft Office software

?  Detail oriented with strong organizational skills

?  Strong team player

?  Ability to maintain confidentiality

?  Proactive with ability to quickly adapt to change

?  Excellent interpersonal skills

?  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
