Product Manager - CAD design team

Prestigious company is looking for a highly organized individual to oversee development of new products.? The process requires interaction with our design, sourcing, sales and QC groups.? This person will work directly with the senior VP of design and her CAD design team to create table linens and candles for specialty and mass merchant retailers.

This position requires attending sales meetings and recapping that information for our designers.? Once design develops the artwork, the Product Manager works with our sourcing managers to determine where the artwork will be sent.? The Product Manager then writes Gerber specs and prepares the design packets to go overseas.? Daily email follow-up of this process with our overseas vendors is critical to this process.? Receipt and review of the samples is also a key activity for this position as well as distribution of the samples to the sales staff and buyers.

Excel spreadsheets are created and updated by that track the sampling and costing process are also the responsibility of the Product Manager.? There are also design budget sheets, invoices, expense sheets, license approval sheets and sampling fees to be kept up-to-date.

This individual needs to be comfortable in a fast paced environment and with multi-tasking.?
