Technical Designer / Product Developer-Apparel

Apparel Technical Designer/Product DeveloperMeridian Sourcing and Design is an entrepreneurial, fast growing organization where all associates are empowered to make decisions, to make a difference. Extremely detail oriented individual with strong follow through habits is needed to partner with product development team in all phases of development, design, and pre-production:  
- Comprehensive knowledge of technical packages, BOMs, trims & accessories, fabric construction & garment finishing processes.
-Create specs, sketches, technical packages, conduct fit sessions and communicate approvals & corrections to overseas factories
- Responsible to maintain Product Development time & action calendars and be meticulous about keeping overseas factories on schedule for submits.
- Advanced level experience in Photoshop & Illustrator software.
- Work with the sales team on customer appointments to insure accurate transfer of style/design/color/accy information.  - Travel to national trade shows and to our overseas fabric suppliers/factories also available for the motivated associate.
