Tanker Driver - Chemicals

Are you a self-starter, organized and safety conscious Class A Driver looking for an opportunity at a respected company?

Wayne Transports, Inc. seeks a Tanker Driver to join our Chemical Division Driver Team.

Wayne Transports, Inc. has been in the tank transporter business for nearly 50 years. Our positive outlook, up to date equipment, and superior customer service means we will always meet our customer?s needs for years to come.

We seek an experienced Driver to provide tank load transportation service for our Chemical Division to customers within 300 miles of the Twin Cities and the upper Midwest from Indiana to North Dakota. Transportation of 12-14 various chemical products some hazardous and some non-hazardous. This position requires up to 2 weeks of initial training.

Summary of Work Performed:

Employee will be trained and required to perform one or more of the following tasks:

- Deliver bulk chemical products to customers
- Load/unload trucks
- Perform inspection and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:

- 5 or more years experience operating Tractor/Trailer Equipment
- Must qualify for a Class 'A' license with Hazardous and Tanker endorsements.
- Tanker Driver experience a big plus
- Satisfactory driving record: 
- No serious traffic violations within the last 3 years
- No more than 4 moving violations with the last 3 years
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last year
- No preventable accidents involving injuries or disabling damage in the last 3 years

- Ability to read and understand written instructions
- Demonstration of active listening, problem solving, and relationship skills
- Strong verbal and written skills

We seek experienced Class A Drivers to provide load transportation service for our Asphalt Division to customers within the Twin Cities and the upper Midwest.
