We are searching for a 2nd Shift Warehouse Lead in Sayreville, NJ who will be responsible for directing a team of employees to accurately maintain a high volume warehouse of finished goods; ship those products with the same degree of accuracy and quality at the lowest possible costing rate on an expected timely fashion. The safety and housekeeping requirements are of equal importance. This position reports to a Warehouse Manager who reports to a Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

? To meet all shipment requirements set forth by our forecasted sales plan and detailed by Customer Service Pick List on a daily basis.

? To accurately manage the Warehouse flow of finished goods in the rack locations and shipment of those products.

? Manage the order picking to be both efficient and accurate to minimize shortages and damages.

? To maintain a clean warehouse and be fully compliant with all policies and procedures, including maintaining a secure facility.

? To be fully accountable for the safety of his/hers employees. Emphasis on conducting safety meetings, job safety audits and fully reinforcing our safety program.

? Supple manufacturing with components as requested.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

? Minimum of five years in the warehouse/distribution field in successfully managing 10 + employees in a shipping environment.

? Capable of motivating a work force to meet the expected department goals which would include the work flow and location of finished goods, shipping/receiving requirements, safety, housekeeping and quality expectations.

? Computer literate with knowledge of warehouse management systems, including RF handheld terminals.

? Excellent communicating skills both oral and written.

? Proven track record in organizational and motivational skills.

? Distribution operation in a manufacturing environment.

? Reach truck operation is a big plus.

? Minimum of a High School Diploma

? English speaking; Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

? Management courses a plus
