AM and PM Supervisor

Broder Bros., Co. is a leading distributor of imprintable sportswear and accessories in the United States and operates under the "Broder", "Alpha" and "NES" brands.  We operate the largest distribution network in the industry, which consists of 16 facilities strategically located throughout the U.S. with the ability to ship via ground parcel service to over 80% of the continental U.S. population within one business day and to over 98% of the continental U.S. population within two business days.  We operate within the imprintable sportswear and accessories market, which includes undecorated or ?blank? T-shirts, sweatshirts, polo shirts, fleece, outerwear, caps, bags and other imprintable accessories that are decorated primarily for advertising and promotional purposes. We provide our decorator customers with value-added merchandising, marketing and promotional support that helps our customers grow their businesses. Our decorator customers in turn sell our products to end-consumers, primarily for advertising and promotional purposes.

 

We are currently seeking to fill Several Production Supervisor positions in our new Bolingbrook, IL distribution center where customer orders are picked, processed, and shipped out to our customers within 24 hours.  We currently have one AM and two PM opportunities available. 

 

Under the supervision of the Sr. DC Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for the training and development of their assigned staff in order picking and checking.  The specific duties include but are not limited to:

 

Supervises and executes warehouse and production processes and standards to ensure package integrity and just-in-time delivery of all merchandise.

 

Hires and supervises the training process of employees.  Coaches and develops employees.

 

Meets the Company?s customer service goals and expectations through continuous quality and cost performance.

 

Coordinates staffing needs to business volume with scheduling initiatives.

 

Ensures safety adherence, performance, and compliance to prevent injury. 

 

Actively contributes to the supervisory team within the Distribution Center towards accomplishing departmental goals and objectives.

 

Interfaces on a daily basis with warehouse management.

 

Timely execution of evaluations, performance indicators, and coordinating paperwork.

 

May be assigned special projects/assignments as the need arises.

 

Special Skills Required

 

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training-, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

 

Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

 

Must be a self-starter and have strong team building skills.
