An excellent career opportunity with one of our distribution center?s in the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma area. This position will maintain a fleet of trucks and qualified drivers to make timely, accurate deliveries to our customers with minimum.

Responsibilities:
* Create routing so all store deliveries will be made by 8:00a.m.
* Ensure department stays compliant with DOT and company regulations.
* Maintain all fleet vehicles to company standards and service schedules.
* Have training procedures in place so that all drivers have a clear understanding of all job requirements.
* Responsible for team member evaluations being written and given in a timely manner.
* Be available to department team members 24 hours per day.
* Ensure all department paperwork is complete and submitted to corporate on a daily basis.
* Prepare and or assist with quarterly safety meetings as mandated by Department of Transportation guidelines.
* Work with other departments to coordinate activities including special deliveries and pickups.
* Communicate with remote drivers at least weekly and meet with remote drivers at least once per quarter.
* Ride with drivers as necessary.
* Assist with all aspects of the job as listed above on a daily basis, and will fulfill these duties in the absence of the transportation supervisor.
* Operate in a safe manner for the benefit of self and others and maintain a watchful eye for unsafe practices and situations.
* Other duties as assigned by the DC management team.

Skills/Qualifications:
* Management skills
* Minimum of class A CDL with Haz Mat endorsement
* Must be able to work flexible hours
* Basic computer skills
* Ability to read and match numerical and alpha characters quickly and accurately
* Knowledge of DOT regulations
