Air Freight Sales

JOB DESCRIPTION This position is for a new satellite office serving the bay area. Main office and call center for this branch is located in California for support. This office will provide local sales and drivers only as all aspects of operation are handled at the call center. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate will perform all aspects of the selling process from prospecting, setting appointments, presenting proposals, closing sales and building customer relationships. Ideal candidate will have a solid background in Domestic and International air transportation sales working for non-asset based domestic freight forwarder companies. Candidates must have at least 2+ years of air or ground based transportation experience along with excellent customer service and relationship building skills. Proven success in prospecting, appointment setting, presenting solutions and closing sales. Must be able to work independently and enjoy being self-directed.
