Airfreight Marketing Executive

Shipco Transport Inc., a leading airfreight wholesaler/consolidator and neutral NVOCC, has an immediate opening at our Newak, NJ branch, for an Airfreight Marketing Executive. 

 

We are looking for a candidate who is dynamic, highly motivated, reliable and who understands and appreciates the importance of a team effort.
A minimum of 1-2 years experience in international cargo transportation is required, preferably from a neutral wholesaler/consolidator or freight forwarder background, or airline.
Experience with inside sales coordination and/or market research and analysis is also required. 

 Duties will include data base maintenance, tariff administration, market research and analysis, telemarketing and maintenance of customer accounts, preparation of rate proposals, and extensive communication with local and international clients.

 Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and organizational skills. Candidate must be detailed oriented and able to handle a fast paced, multi-tasking, customer service minded environment.
