Analyst I, Demand Planning - 100415 - Sylmar, CA - 0300

Job Description: Primary Function Manages Customer Inventories through analysis and operations system.

Duties and Responsibilities

Maintains replenishment model information, including monitoring the accuracy of weekly data, history, network changes, lead-times, past and future promotional events, new product information, pricing and customer service performance goals, and updating as required.

Insures availability of product through the monitoring and oversight of inventory systems.

Many coordinate delivery for all shipments and monitor performance of carriers for on-time delivery.

Maximizes the efficiencies of shipments.

Resolves unacceptable situations with customers, as well as problems between shipping locations, carriers, receiving departments, inventory analysts, and buyers to insure planned arrival of products.

Acts as liaison between customers, sales, customer service and carriers.

Communicates shifts in demand that could impact company's service levels.

Education
BS Degree

Experience
2-3 years experience

Specialized Knowledge & Skills

Dataflo; Microsoft Office; Excel

Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.

General application of concepts and principles.

Develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.

Refers to policies and practices for guidance.

Works under only very general supervision.

Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.

Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals.

Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results would normally require a moderate expenditure of resources to rectify.
