Job Title: Operations Supervisor
Reports To: Operations Manager
Direct Reports to
this Position: Distribution Technicians
Position Overview:
Responsible for directing, supervising and coordinating the activities of a distribution department of up to 20+ people.
Apply knowledge of distribution methods, equipment and labor utilization.
Reviews effectiveness of operating procedures and makes recommendations for improvements as necessary.
Responsible for coaching, developing and assessing performance of distribution technicians.
Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures.
Confers with Manager to establish departmental metrics and standards.
Administers training programs to distribution technicians to ensure proper operations and administration of safety policies and procedures.
Position Requirements:
3-5 Years of Supervisory Experience in a Distribution Environment
Degree Preferred
Familiarity with use of a WMS is a plus
