Arrival & Departure Clerk

This position is responsible for accurately recording all inbound truck arrivals. Also responsible for coordinating and generating all paperwork needed for outbound truck departures.

 

Qualifications:



-Yard management (movement of trailers at site).

-Create paperwork for outbound loads.

-Perform data entry, review interplant bills, recordkeeping for rail vans, and parcel returns to customers.

-Assign trailers for optimal yard management.



Experience and Skills:

-HS Diploma or equivalent. Business school diploma or certificate is preferred.

-Good communication skills in written and verbal form. Excellent customer service skills.

-Analytical and computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office. Good data entry skills is a plus.

-Experience working in a transportation/warehouse environment.

-Basic knowledge of United States Postal Service regulations preferred but not required.

-Other skills required include multi-tasking and attention to detail.
