The Assistant Distribution Center (Operations) Manager is responsible for day-to-day supervision of all employees involved in receiving, storing and shipping product to MWI customers. Responsibilities will include hiring, training and motivating warehouse employees, timely distribution of customer orders, and compliance of safety and security procedures. In addition, this position will assist the Operations Manager with inventory cycle counts and ensuring that the warehouse is in compliance with all Federal, State and Local agencies.
Qualifications/Experience:
Typically two or more years of warehouse/distribution experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate sound administrative and well-developed management skills. Must have a proven ability to recruit, train and motivate staff.
