Book and Magazine Delivery Drivers Needed - Rio Grande Valley

 

Permanent, full-time Route Driver opportunities with The News Group, America's 2nd largest wholesaler and distributor of books & magazines.  Due to our rapid growth, we are seeking several Route Drivers.There are openings in the Rio Grande Valley Area working out of our Depot in Harlingen.  Primary responsibilities will be to deliver pre-packaged books & magazines to retail locations within an assigned territory in a company provided vehicle.

 

You do not need previous Route Driver experience to be considered for this position.  We are seeking individuals with a stable employment history (no more than 3 jobs during the past 5 years) with a history of good performance and work experience in a physical environment, such as retail, labor, warehousing, etc.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

*Must have a valid driver's license

*Must be at least 23 years of age

*Must have no DUI's in the past 5 years

*Must have a clean driving record for the past 36 months with no significant at-fault traffic accidents or no more than two moving violations

*Must be able to lift 50 lbs frequently

*Must be able to speak/read/write English

*Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Pay for these positions will be approximately $340/week.
