CDL Class A - Box Truck Driver

Tweeter is seeking a full-time CDL Driver to deliver and transfer company products to our store 13 Chicago land store locations.  Candidate must have 3 to 5 years previous experience, a clean driving record and a Class A driver's license.  This position requires frequent contact with Operation and Store Manager's and requires a strong customer service focus.

 

Skills:
* Secure and transport company products between locations
* Perform vehicle inspection daily
* Complete deliveries to Stores
* Operate company vehicle using all safety precautions
* Load and unload Trucks (handle merchandise)
* Basic Computer skills (ie: read inventory transfer)
* Responsibly handle all inventory on the truck
* Responsibly maintain vehicles
* Effective communication skills and SUPERIOR customer service skills
* Professionally interact with Store Managers and staffs
* Independently maintain compliance with DOT regulations (ie: log books)
* Operate additional machinery such as Fork Truck, Pallet Jack, and Lift


Job Skills Required:
* Ability to move and lift heavy objects.
* Job requires being able to lift 100 pounds plus on an occasional basis.
* Must be able to work/drive in all types of weather conditions.

 

Pre-employment Requirements:
* Valid Class A Drivers License
* 3-5 years driving experience
* Driving Record with no speeding and no accident commercial
* DOT Medical Card
* Pre-employment drug screen
