Class A - CDL Driver (Local)

Class A ? CDL Driver

 

We are a well established and growing Tier 1 manufacturer of automotive injection molded parts in the Fort Wayne area.  We are currently seeking a Full-time 1st shift Class A ? CDL driver.

 

The driver will be responsible for the transportation of finished goods.  No overnight travel!  This position is Monday through Friday with the possibility of overtime, so the ideal candidate will need to be somewhat flexible.  This position requires loads be picked up at our manufacturing facility and delivered to our local customers an average of 3-4 times daily.  This position is accountable for ensuring all deliveries are timely and complete.

 

This position also requires occasional light warehouse duties and provides assistance to shipping personnel as needed.

 

The ideal candidate will?Possess and maintain a valid Class A CDL license with an acceptable driving record.Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.Be motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.Have some previous driving/delivery experience and experience driving a forklift.Prior shipping experience helpful.Possess a high school diploma.
