Coin Processor

The nation?s leading armored car, ATM and Cash Management service company, is seeking dedicated security professionals to join our team.

GENERAL FUNCTION: The Coin Processor uses automated equipment to process loose and bagged coin for verification and develop deposit shipments for our customers. Coin Processor is a dual-function job; loading coin and pulling bags. Each function is performed in an alternating manner. The coin in ?dumped? into the machine and full bags are pulled and tagged upon completion.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Continuously feed loose coin in the machine for up to eight (8) hours per day.

2. Seal, tag, and lift bags onto rack. Function is performed repetitiously for up to eight (8) hours per day.

3. Loading/unloading buggies containing bags of coin.

4. Sorting individual cargo items by route.

5. Communicating verbally with co-workers and customers via telephone.

REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:

1. Ability to push/pull wagons, carts, buggies, and dollies loaded with cargo

weighing up to several hundred pounds.

2. Unrestricted ability to repetitiously bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb,

twist, turn, and reach out.

3. Ability to perform repetitious lifting of items weighing an average of 30-55

pounds from floor level to approximately 4-foot, cut open, and pour contents

into a machine hopper, approximately one (1) bag per minute.

4. Ability to repetitiously bend to lift items weighing an average of 50 pounds

each to load/unload carts.

5. Ability to maintain a stooped or squatting position for several minutes to

perform the sorting function.

6. Ability to lift boxes of rolled coin (weighing as much as 12-25 pounds) off

conveyor belt and position on the rack the rack on a level from 6 inches to 3

feet off floor level.

7. Ability to stand on concrete floor approximately 100 percent of shift.

8. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with

co-workers and customers, and to read receipts, manifests and reports.

9. Ability to sign and record numbers by hand to make entries on records and

prepare reports.

10. Ability to count, add, subtract and balance columns of numbers, read weights

and distinguish coin denominations.

11. Able to drive and use a forklift truck.

Local candidates are preferred since no relocation assistance is available for this position.
