Bridge Terminal Transport (BTT) is an operating division of Maersk Line ? the world?s largest provider of containerized shipping solutions. Specializing in transporting marine containers utilizing Owner/Operators, BTT operates forty-one trucking terminals from coast to coast, and is the largest container carrier company in the United States.

Right now, we?re opening a new Container Yard facility on the Southside of Chicago. And, we?re now looking for experienced team players to safely and efficiently meet our customers? equipment requirements.

You will be responsible for inspecting inbound and outbound equipment and reporting damages, conducting equipment inventories, providing container lift & chassis stacking services, monitoring genset readings on live loaded reefer, and verifying steamship bookings and equipment release. You?ll also perform safety checks, and assist/monitor the performance of maintenance & repair vendors.

To qualify, you must have a HS diploma (or equivalent), good communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure as part of a team. At least one year of transportation or customer service experience is preferred. Strong computer skills are a plus.
