Customer Service Representative

 

APL Logistics, an international logistics and containerized cargo transportation company seeks a candidate to join our team in Oak Brook, IL, as an International Freight Forwarding Customer Service Representative.

The IFS Customer Service Representative will Sales Account Manager will provide customers end to end support for their shipments including; providing rates, routing and tracking information. The CSR will assist customers in service interpretation and resolution of issues. The emphasis of the IFS group is ocean freight forwarding, air- freight services, brokerage services and related freight forwarding activities.

 

This position requires excellent customer service skills. Strong written and verbal communication skill and attention to detail are required. The candidate will have excellent computer skills.


The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience, preferably in the transportation and/or freight forwarding industry.

Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills are required.

College degree preferred
