JOB DESCRIPTION:

We currently have a Driver/Sales Representative position at our Service Center(s). The successful candidate will be people-oriented, highly motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This position will be responsible for performing various local and over the road driving as well as freight handling duties in an environment focused on providing quality service to Con-way customers.

All drivers are home every day/night. All your equipment is clean well maintained. Top pay of over $20.00!!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Hooking and unhooking trailers; loading and unloading freight; counting and tracking shipments that are delivered and received; driving in local and over the road operations; providing quality service to customers; completing safety checks; filling out paperwork; performing dock work; utilizing forklifts and other machinery and equipment such as flatbed carts, hand dolly, pallet jacks, and trailers; maintaining a clean and safe work environment; adhering to Haz-Mat, DOT and company policies and procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Class A commercial driver's license with hazardous and doubles/triples endorsements are required. Demonstrated truck driving experience and an exemplary driving record preferred. Good verbal, written, and communication skills. Previous LTL experience is a desirable, but not required.
