Dallas- Warehouse Technician Part Time

GES Exposition Services, a leading tradeshow and event marketing company, is seeking a high energy, growth ?oriented professional with demonstrated leadership abilities, integrity and passion for hassle ?free service for the position of part time Warehouse Technician at our Dallas, Texas facility.



FUNCTION: 

 

To prepare furniture, drape and booth metal materials for assigned shows. 

To assist with theinstallation and dismantling of booths at showsite.



DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Loads and unloads trailers for showsite. 

Supervises temporary labor in the loading and unloading of trailers, as required.

Maintains and repairs equipment, as needed, (i.e., lights, crates, forklifts, etc.)

Assists in the maintenance of department materials and equipment.

Drives forklifts, as needed.

Maintains a clean and safe working area.

Assists at showsite with the installation and dismantling of booths, as required.

Assists the Drape Department with the stringing of drape.

Assists in the paint, graphics, and flex areas, as required.

 Assists in transporting equipment to showsite, as required.

Maintains inventory of all equipment and materials.

 Performs other duties as assigned and deemed necessary of the position under the

direction of the Warehouse Manager.

Travel 25% of the time



EDUCATION/ REQUIREMENTS:


High School Graduate or GED required

One year of warehouse experience

Good written and oral communication skills
