Delivery Driver /Warehouse Worker

 

North Miami company has an immediate opening for a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker.

 

Experience in a warehouse setting as well as driving a delivery truck required.

 

Warehouse

In the warehouse portion of the job you will be working with the warehouse supervisor performing a variety of warehouse duties such as pulling customer orders, checking out bound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restock product, move, store, and conduct cycle counts, receive and unload in bound product, process in bound shipments, stock products, process customer returns and notify supervisor of damaged shipments.

 

Delivery Driver

In the driving portion of the job you will be transporting company products between designated locations in Florida and California. Most Florida deliveries are scheduled weekdays between 10am-5pm.  California deliveries are scheduled approximately every six weeks.  All deliveries are inside. 

 

Driver ensures that products are properly packed and secured. Verifies load against shipping papers. Obtains signed receipts for delivered products. Maintains accurate driver log according to state and federal regulations, and maintains any additional documentation of trip required by company.  Must maintain contact with warehouse supervisor.

 

Performs other related duties as required.

 

Requirements

Two years of verifiable professional driving experience, at least 21 years of age, with valid Florida driver?s license. CDL; or ability to obtain CDL.  Knowledge of DOT regs.

Clean driving record, with no more than one moving violation within the past two years, and no DUI, DWI, or OWI in the past two years.

Ability to lift 70 lbs safely and regularly using proper loading/unloading procedures.

Ability to proficiently read a map and follow directions.

Provide quality service to delivery locations

Strong team player and the ability to get along with co-workers.

Good verbal/written communication skills, basic math skills, ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.

Ability to pass drug screen, medical certification, and background check.
