Safety-Kleen Corp. has an immediate opening for a Demo Truck Driver in the New Orleans Market. This individual is responsible for driving and maintaining the demo truck, servicing our parts cleaning machines on the truck and assisting in selling aqueous equipment to customers.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Service our parts cleaning machines, supply fresh chemistry or cleaning solution, and remove spent chemistry or solvent on the equipment on the demo truck

Maintain demo truck in pristine, show-room like condition

Drive demo truck between 6 branches in the Southern California Market

At least one overnight trip to Santa Barbara is required each period

When truck is scheduled for less than 4-6 appointments, make unscheduled sales calls with the demo truck

Sell parts washing products and services

Fill out and assist customer with required paperwork

Work closely with manager and salesperson to improve route efficiency and expand existing customer relationships

Operate vehicles in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements as well as local, state and other federal requirements

 

Qualifications

 

High School or GED, prefer some college or equivalent military training

2-3 years of route based sales/service experience

General knowledge of environmental, health and safety compliance

Able to lift up to 50+ lbs. frequently and move large, heavy containers on wheels

Ability to obtain at Commercial Driver?s License
