Distribution Operations Manager

Blue Line Foodservice Distribution, a division of Little Caesar Enterprises Inc., seeks a Operations Manager to join our distribution team.

 

Job Summary:

 

The operations manager will be responsible for managing operations and staff of the distribution center to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability.  Hire, train, develop and evaluate the performance of supervisory and hourly colleagues.  Manage the customer service aspects of business and the flow of inbound & outbound product.

 

Other responsibilities:

 Budgets and develops action plans to achieve budgeted cost controls and profitability goals.Maintains work environment that is safe, secure and incompliance with government laws, DOT, FDA, and OSHA regulations.Serves as a point of contract for customer service related communication.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 Minimum four years of experience in the food service distribution industry, plus four years of supervisory experience, in related field.Demonstrated computer skills to include proficiencies with transportation, inventory and warehousing experience software.Excellent communication skills, the ability to lead and motivate colleagues.High school diploma or GED with some college coursework in transportation, materials and logistics, management or other related field, a Bachelor?s Degree highly preferred.
