Driver - Class B CDL

Airgas, Inc., North America?s largest distributor of industrial, specialty and medical gases and related equipment and safety products is seeking candidates for our Driver position at our Marshalltown, Iowa location. 

 

Working with safety as the top priority, the Driver is responsible for delivering cylinders and hard goods directly to our customers, which includes loading and unloading deliveries.  Responsibilities include organizing routes in an efficient manner; operating a forklift; maintaining load manifests and other DOT vehicle documents.  Building a strong relationship with customers is a vital function of this position.

 

Qualified candidates will have a Class B CDL with Hazmat or the ability to obtain Hazmat endorsement prior to employment, and clean driving record is required, and must be able to routinely lift 25-50 and up to 100 lbs occasionally. A demonstrated commitment to customer service is also a must. Knowledge of industrial and specialty gases a plus.
