Driver Part-Time

Part time P&D Combo Drivers are needed by Roadway?s Boise, ID service center with the ability to work as needed.  Combo drivers load and unload customer freight on Roadway docks, operate commercial motor vehicles in urban, suburban and rural areas, pick up and deliver customer?s freight and complete required paperwork.

 

Requirements:

 

?  Current commercial drivers license with hazardous materials and doubles endorsements and must meet all other requirements specified by Federal Motor Carrier Regulations

?  Minimum of one year verifiable driving experience or graduation from a state accredited driving program

?  No record of license suspension or revocation as a result of a conviction while operating a motor vehicle

?  Must read, write and converse in English sufficiently to comprehend and follow safety rules, to communicate with the general public and respond to official inquiries, to make entries on reports/records, and to understand highway traffic signs and signals

?  Must pass a physical ability test, DOT physical and drug screen

 

Preferred Requirements:

?  A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred for driver applicants

?  Two years driving experience in all weather conditions

?  Awards for safe driving
