EXPERIENCED ROUTE DRIVER, P/T

Centralized Laboratory Services- a division of?HIP Health Plan of New York, a high-volume, leading clinical laboratory in Long Island City, Queens, NY who prides itself on excellent patient care is seeking?an EXPERIENCED Part Time Route Driver with a clean drivers license to join our Transportation Department.

Hours are: Minimum of 6 hours to be Assigned Between 9:30AM - 8PM Monday to Friday (one day off)

??????????????????????????? 10am to 4:30PM Saturday

??????????????????????????? OFF Sunday



?Applicants must be flexible to work additional hours and days as needed and must understand that the schedule is subject to change depending on business needs.

* Clean neat appearance; courteous.

* Good communications skills

* High School Diploma

* Clean New York State drivers? license. No past or present DWI or DWU? violations or suspensions. When responding please give license number.

* Ability to lift 50 pounds.

* Flexible hours and punctuality are musts.

* Experience with route service.

* Knowledge of the five boroughs as well as Nassau and Suffolk streets and highways.

* Map reading ability.

* Knowledge of car maintenance.

* Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations.

THE PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:

?????????????????????? * Pick up of medical specimens and mail from Centers and Private Doctors offices.

?????????????????????? * Deliver Supplies and Mail to Centers and Private Doctors offices.

???????????????????????* Inspect vehicle doing any preventive maintenance necessary.

?????????????????????? * Ability to complete daily route book, route sheets, as well as other paperwork.
