We are currently hiring for the following position at our Administrative Service Center located in Boise, ID.

FLEET PROCUREMENT ADMINISTRATOR

Responsibilities associated with this position include the following:

 Administer procurement for all BMC West rolling stock.Coordinate all national vendor relationship and negotiations with Selectbuild.Administer methods of procurement such as direct purchases and formal bids.Confer with vendors to obtain information on rolling stock, such as price, availability, quality, and delivery schedule within budgetary limitations.Compile department studies, statistical reports and department related analysis.Manage Fleet Operations Specialist.Conduct off-site visits to suppliers and contract service providers to establish rapport and to gain knowledge of business and rolling stock options.Participate in company meetings, training sessions, and travel periodically to locations.Monitor the AFE system and national accounts to ensure timely receipt of equipment delivery requests and receipt of all rebates.

Strong Microsoft computer skills are required in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint along with excellent communication skills.  This position requires a bachelor?s degree from a four-year college or university; three to five years of experience in the field or in a related area.  Familiarity with equipment (trucks, forklifts), vehicle procurement, and DOT Regulations is a plus.
