Facility Manager - Bulk Truck Tank Wash

The division of our business that is dedicated to tank washing, Quala Wash, currently has an opening in our

South Gate, CA facility for a safety-conscious Facility Manager.

?

As a Manager for Quala Wash, you are responsible for managing the tank wash facility, creating a safe and desirable work environment that produces high profit margins, and insuring the operation excels in service and quality.

?

Essential functions include:Manage all aspects of staff and customer contact at the facility Maintaining building, grounds, pumps, spinners, boilers, vats and other rack equipment.? Arranging for regularly scheduled equipment maintenance. Maintaining safe and environmentally correct practices and procedures. Maintaining waste logs; preparing drums for complete shipments of waste off-site; conducting training for tank cleaners; preparing and submitting environmental engineering reports or requests for federal and state governmental agencies. Assisting in sales effort to increase facility revenue.? Seeking new revenue producing opportunities; maintaining cost control by utilizing authorized vendors, minimizing overtime, conservation of assets; quality service checks and inspections.

Requirements:High School Diploma or Equivalent 2-3 years previous Tank Wash experience - preferred Basis knowledge of chemistry or the ability to grasp chemical concepts Strong critical thinking skills Microsoft Office skills - preferred Excellent leadership and communication skills
