Field Dispatcher

The primary purpose of the Field Dispatcher is to communicate harvesting activity,  trucking needs, and final load counts.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:  Other duties may be assigned.

 

? Monday through Saturday, 12 + hours per night for the duration of the AG season

? Familiarize truck drivers as to entrances, staging areas, and exits for each load site

? Constant communication with the Fresno Tower

? Call Tower Dispatcher for appointment times and truck numbers

? Monitor and communicate all trucking and harvesting activity at each load site

? Record truck numbers and communicate to the Tower that each truck is on time, early, late,  or ?No Show? at each load site

? Continually inspect trailers at each load site and communicate any mechanical failures

? Dispatch trucks relative to rate of harvesting for each load site

? Obtain and communicate a ?Final? load count at each load site

? Communicate end of the day trailer inspections and ensure that all loads are picked up at each load site
