Fleet Maintenance Manager/Director
The Judge Group, INC . is currently in search of a Fleet Maintenance Manager/Director for a Large Food/Beverage Distribution Facility located in Palmdale, CA. This position will oversee maintenance of all fleet and facility components of the operation with the focus on FLEET vs. Facilities. Primary responsibility will be to control costs while providing the best possible maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and employee safety.
Oversee the day to day operations of the maintenance facility and the building maintenance.
Responsible for P&L budget, including maintenance, parts and fuel purchases, and renovations.
Manage all personnel in the maintenance department (1 supervisor and 7-8 fleet mechanics) of a 230K square foot facility-including hiring, handling personnel issues, reviewing performance, conducting training and coaching sessions, and termination if necessary.
Manage regulatory compliance for distribution center, shop, fuel island and equipment.
Follow-up on all warranty issues and lease issues through Distribution Services and the manufacturers.
Oversee and coordinate all building maintenance projects, upgrades, new construction, repairs, additions, security related matters, and all equipment monitoring and control.
Must have a complete understanding of license and permit requirements as well as tax issues that pertain to the fleet as well as regulatory requirements necessary to operate a maintenance facility.

Qualified Candidates for the Fleet Maintenance Manager/Director MUST HAVE at least 3-5 years of previous Fleet Management/Director Level Maintenance experience from within a Food/Beverage Manufacturing/Distribution Facility.
