INVENTORY ADMINISTRATOR

Coast Chemical, Inc. is currently experiencing rapid growth and is looking for a select individual to join our team.

 

Coast is a regional distributor of personal care ingredients and other specialty chemicals.

 

Job Purpose:

 

Maintains accurate inventory levels by receiving and verifying inventory, conducting physical inventory, and helping establish inventory levels.

 

Duties:

 

* Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory information in our computer system by identifying and correcting variances, assist in identifying and implementing inventory control system improvements.

* Verifies inventory levels by taking physical counts, tracking lost items, and adjusting records.

 

* Maintains inventory by adhering to ordering and receiving requirements, which include inputting receipts and adjustments.

 

* Helps organize inventory by assisting in the planning of item locations.

* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.

 

* Helps establish inventory levels by studying supply usage patterns and forecasts in order to set accurate reorder points.

This is a full-time position. The desired candidate will possess strong computer, oral and written communication skills as well as a Bachelor's degree.

 

Coast Chemical will provide on the job training.
