Job Opening: Facility Industrial Engineer

Job Summary:
The Facility Industrial Engineer is expected to be a self-sufficient individual with knowledge in general transportation and warehousing principles. The Facility IE will be responsible for conducting studies to determine new processes and procedures in order to maximize productivity of both an hourly workforce and automated AS/RS system. They will work on a variety of projects which include time study/ work measurement, designing and facilitating IT enhancements, equipment/ staffing analysis, and root cause investigation.

Job Responsibilities: Manage the day to day performance of Automated Storage / Retrieval System. Maintains all performance standards and benchmarks aimed at improving efficiency, productivity, quality, and safety. Leads the implementation of all distribution process improvements from design to implementation. Perform work measurement/ time study.

 

Job Requirements: A bachelor?s degree in industrial engineering, logistics engineering or a related discipline. Three to Five years of relevant work experience (facilities engineering, industrial engineering, project management etc.). Ability to multi-task. A hands-on approach to problem solving. Work measurement/ time study experience. Working knowledge of MS Office, and PL/SQL a plus Good writing and verbal skills.
