International Shipping Coordinator

Job Summary: The Marketing Communications Coordinator role is to develop, plan, and coordinate production of internal and external communication including but not limited to print publications, web sites, electronic communications, trade show management, development of marketing and advertising programs, customer presentations and sales support.  This position reports directly to the General Manager.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 Oversees and manages all aspects of Trade Show management including but not limited to ordering booth services, track booth properties, assist in development booth floor plan and fixtures, request convention instrumentation and secure travel arrangements.  Responsible for monthly budget report that includes the tracking of all costs per show versus budgeted amounts.  Track and measure the effectiveness of each trade show through managing the trade show evaluation forms in coordination with sales category managers.Assist in developing category marketing advertising catalogs.Develop, foster and maintain relationships with Trade Magazines.Support Sales Department in producing effective Customer presentations.Develops the annual marketing and advertising plan, and budget to be submitted as part of annual business plan.Develops all company catalogs and brochures.Manages, organizes, all retail photos in public drive. Generate and develop new customers and marketsManages and prepares monthly report on Website effectiveness, prepares and makes recommendation on changes to enhance the websiteDevelop, support and recommend email campaigns utilizing Constant ContactManage customer retailer conferences with category managers.Performs other related duties as determined by Management.

 Experience / Background: Educational requirements are a Bachelor?s Degree in Marketing plus a minimum of 3 to 10 years of marketing and sales experience.  This individual must posses the ability to maximize our marketing and advertising efforts through clear direction and creative thinking.  Attention to detail and time deadlines is a must. Experience in tracking budgets and reporting variances is required.  Knowledge of advertising, public relations, and market research would be a plus. Must be creative, high energy, and excited by new challenges. Ability and desire to learn and grow with this position is a must.  Strong communication skills, strategic analytical and creative skills, and excellent computers skills (including but not limited to Microsoft products, Graphics Software, & Photo Imaging, Website Cold Fusion, PageMaker and Illustrator) are required.  Demonstrated ability to lead the creation of materials to effectively communicate the essence of a product and make it compelling to the appropriate target potential and existing customer base is also required.  Position also requires proven action-orientation and sense of urgency is critical.
