We provide our decorator customers with value-added merchandising, marketing and promotional support that helps our customers grow their businesses. Our decorator customers in turn sell our products to end-consumers, primarily for advertising and promotional purposes.

 

We are seeking to fill an IC Manager position in our Duluth, GA distribution center.  The IC Manager position is independently responsible for managing the daily functions of the IC Department which involves the maintenance of a high level of inventory integrity.  Central responsibilities include management of the daily cycle-count process, planning for short-term inventory-related issues, analyzing data, defining problems, drawing valid conclusions and making changes or recommendations for improvement.

 

Demonstrate fiscal responsibility through adherence to facility?s scheduling and budgetary

requirements on a daily basis,

 

Determine and review work practices for department; streamline and standardize improve

efficiencies while meeting Department and Company objectives,

 

Motivate work force to its fullest potential, cultivating accountability,

 

Manage all activities related to ensuring integrity of inventory including but not limited to

physical inventory, reconciling physical to perpetual inventory on a weekly basis, as well as

stock adjustments,

 

Initiate, plan and implement inventory audits and product inspections.  Review, analyze

and report on results. Identify problems, make recommendations for improvement and

resolve issues within the facility, between facilities and with corporate departments 

as needed.

 

May be called upon to handle other duties and responsibilities as the need arises.

Specific knowledge, training or skills required to perform the duties of this position. Identify specific concepts, courses, training programs or required certifications.

 

 

?  In depth knowledge of warehouse practices, procedures and systems typically acquired through progressive related experiences and 2 or more years of formal education.

?  In depth background in cycle count polices and procedures in a distribution environment.

?  Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relations.

?  Demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships at all organization levels.

?  Understanding of Distribution Center operating systems.

?  Strong analytical, comprehension and communication skills.

?  Demonstrated ability to drive and participate in change and to adapt to change in a positive manner.

?  Previous management experience in distribution environment.

?  Strong team building and motivation skills.

?  Demonstrated ability to delegate effectively.

?  Ability to prioritize and set goals to achieve company objectives.

?  Strong planning skills.

?  Demonstrated budget and manpower planning experience.

?  Strong PC application skills. 

 

Previous positions that are necessary background experience to qualify for this

position.

?5 to 7 years of supervisory or managerial experience in a retail and/or distribution environment.
