 Description



GENCO has an opening for an Inventory Control Supervisor at our electronics parts Return Center near Columbus OH.  This is a 250,000 square foot start-up electronics return center, operating multiple shifts with approximately 300 teammates.


 


The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for:


 


Maintaining the integrity of the inventory of the facility through cycle counts and various audits.

Interfacing with the customer's Inventory Control team.

Training teammates and adhering to SOP's, especially as it relates to maintaining inventory integrity.

Insuring accurate and timely reporting including daily metrics and inventory reports.

Working with the customer and the Inventory Control Manager on daily reconciliation of inventory records between R-Log and customers inventory management system.

Supervising 6 to 8 hourly teammates on 2nd Shift. Reports to Inventory Control Manager.

Insuring on-going compliance to GENCO's Core Excellence Program especially as it relates to inventory control and systems.

The successful candidate will have:

High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to analyze complex transactional processes.

Previous experience with inventory control processes and systems.

Demonstrates good leadership and interpersonal skills including relationship building with the customer.

Uses creativity, problem solving skills, and analytical skills for challenges and opportunities.

Experience/knowledge with R-Log or similar WMS Systems a plus.

Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Power Point, and Excel.

A degree in Business Management Logistics, Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience preferred.

Effective communicator and demonstrates how to solicit others for ideas and create buy-in from teammates.
