Inventory Expeditor

Ram Tool and Supply Company is the largest specialty commercial construction supply distributorship in the Southeast, selling over 12,000 construction related products, from beginning to end of project, to its primary customer base of general contractors and subcontractors.

An exciting opportunity exists to join our team as Inventory Expeditor of one of our 18 branches

 

This position will support all areas of product distribution, customer support, shipping, receiving and purchasing.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the followingExpedite material and ensure timely deliveriesIn charge of staging and scheduling jobs while clarifying requirements Pull and stage orders in appropriate locations  Load and unload trucks Maintain inventory accuracy  Maintain neat, safe and organized working environment Perform other responsibilities as assigned

 

Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent Ability to follow verbal and written instructions without minimal supervision Experience in all aspects of material handling including purchase order entry and tracking, material flow management for manufacturing, inventory control, product return/repair and shipping.Background in product and customer support, distribution support and inventory control. Shipping and Receiving experience Forklift certified or have ability to become certified within three months Experience in working in variant conditions (i.e. office, warehouse, yard, vehicles, temperatures)
