Inventory/Logistics Supervisor

Job Responsibilities: Effective leader in team environment; must be flexible to handle varying types of work.
Maintain greater than 99% inventory accuracy.
Direct warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping and material issue.
Oversee facilities management/maintenance.
Provide on time delivery of material and services for both internal and external customers.
Ensure recycling, safety and housekeeping practices are followed.
Monitor performance and provide feedback to staff of six employees.
Maintain JIT pull system to the manufacturing floor.
Responsible for all shelf stock items.
Based on the principles of ?best practices?, coordinate with other Elo divisions to develop processes that continually improve effectiveness of business.
Take part in ISO implementation by accurately documenting processes that are best suited for the business.

 

 

Requirements:
Excellent organization skills
5-10 years experience warehouse operations, with supervisory experience.
Excellent understanding of MRP systems and the impact transactions have on inventory.
Expert in cycle counting; investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent customer service skills, ability to handle numerous requests and interruptions and to work well with people of all levels.
Must be ?hands on? individual, who leads by inspiration and example. 
Team Player.
Must be proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word and Filemaker Pro.
SAP experience a plus.
Associates degree or equivalent added work experience.
