LTL/FTL Specialist (Customer Service) – Surface Transportation

FedEx Trade Networks Transport & Brokerage is searching to fill an

LTL/FTL Specialist (Customer Service) ? Surface Transportation position

 in the Renton, WA location.  This position is accountable for developing rates, preparing documentation and expediting domestic freight throughout North America. A strong sense of customer service and an ability to communicate effectively are key attributes needed. Problem anticipation and resolution skills are essential. Other qualifications desired are a basic knowledge of Customs laws and regulations for import and export, ICC and DOT regulations; basic knowledge of U.S. geography and good typing and computer skills.

 

Requirements: High school diploma/equivalent. Proficient computer skills. Strong customer service, organizational & communication (written/oral) skills. Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations & other federal regulations and requirements with respect to surface transportation. One (1) year surface transportation experience and experience with accounting related functions such as A/P, A/R is preferred.  .
