Our client is a rapidly growing designer, manufacturer and marketer of footwear for men, women and children.  As one of Colorado?s fastest growing, publicly traded companies, our client makes footwear ideal for casual wear, as well as for recreational uses such as boating, hiking, fishing and gardening.  The ideal candidate for the Receiving Lead position is detail oriented, extremely organized and can take initiative while maintaining operational excellence within the shipping department.  This position requires the ability to multi-task and perform well in a fast paced environment.  Strong distribution background in a high volume, high growth shipping environment. 

 

Description: Receive orders according to method of shipmentPlace received orders in the proper staging areaAny problems or discrepancies should be brought to the Receiving SupervisorMust be professional, resourceful, flexible, and team oriented Must have good computer skills & have knowledge of inventory control proceduresExperience using a Warehouse Management System is a plusContinually inform receiving manager of potential problems and changesEnsure daily demand is metFocus on quality assuranceOrganize and maintain warehouse environmentMake recommendations on policies and procedures of the warehouse

Physical Demand:  Work is light to medium in nature with frequent walking to perform assigned tasks. Occasional lifting of >50 lbs. is required. Must be able to communicate clearly with shippers and employees.

 

Qualifications: High School Diploma; some college coursework a plus3 ? 5 years experienceExcellent PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
