The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Light Delivery Driver for our New Orleans, LA location.  As a driver for Graybar, you?ll be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of electrical and telecommunications products to customers. You?ll need to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of safe and proper loading procedures, have strong material handling and general warehouse skills and posses solid customer relation abilities.  The successful candidate will be someone who is ready, willing and able to load/unload their own truck and assist with other warehouse duties as needed. 

 

Requirements

Qualified applicants with previous experience in material handling and driving a company vehicle will be given first consideration. Class C Drivers License required. A clean driving record is a must. Candidate must have the ability to pass D.O.T. physical exam. Current D.O.T. certification is a plus.  You will need to be committed to safety, including following all safe driving rules as well as wearing safety shoes and following safe lifting protocol.  Must have the ability to walk and move freely and regularly lift 70 pounds. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
