Roadway Express, an industry leader for over 75 years, has an immediate opening in its Portland, Oregon Service Center for a Dispatch Technician.  As a Dispatch Technician you will work with line haul drivers.  You are responsible for planning, leading and directing a safe and efficient relay operation that meets or exceeds customer expectations and operational goals. 

 

Requirements:

?  Must be at least 18 years of age

?  Minimum two years experience leading and supervising in an industrial setting

?  Proven track record of achievement in your previous/current position

?  Excellent communication, leadership and planning skills

?  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

?  Be extremely self motivated, ambitious and results oriented

?  Be willing to work a non-traditional schedule

?  Possess computer/data entry skills

?  College degree is preferred
