Local City Dispatcher

We currently have an immediate opening for a City Dispatcher at our Mira Loma, CA terminal.

This position will supervise the city P&D operations to ensure efficient pickup and delivery which provides the required service to customers. This individual must plan city delivery routes to ensure service is met and plan customer pickups with driver availability. Must be sure drivers' hours are within DOT specification.

The ideal candidate will must have a minimum of at least 1 year of LTL experience and at least 6 months of LTL dispatch experience, familiarity with dispatch communications and paperwork, and knowledge of DOT driving hour limits, weight limits, HazMat regulations, and seal verification. Preferred experience is BS/BA degree, 4+ years of LTL with 3 or more years experience as a supervisor/dispatcher. Excellent administrative and communication skills required, as is the ability to work flexible hours. Similar work experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
