CP Ships Trucking, an Inland Carrier, is seeking a Logistics Clerk for its Houston Trucking office. You will be responsible for maintaining records of driver-related activities, providing customer service, and creating work-orders in DispatchMate. In addition, you will:

? Create dispatch orders from customer work orders
? Match customer required back-up to invoices and mail invoices
? Provide driver settlement back-up on weekly settlements
? Record information provided by dispatch regarding driver activity
? Maintain and update manual or computerized filing of all documents pertaining to drivers such as drivers' logs
? Provide proof of delivery as requested by customers
? Type and proofread correspondence and reports
? Act as the primary telephone contact
? Provide additional administrative support to ensure the smooth running of operations

Qualifications:

? Previous experience within the transportation industry in an office environment
? Computer skills (MS Office)
? Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) with a pleasant and professional telephone manner
? Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
? Strong interpersonal skills
