FedEx SmartPost seeks a Logistics Expeditor for its Edison New Jersey Hub. Logistics expeditors are responsible for helping to schedule outbound loads based on projected inbound customer and interplant product. Based on projected inbound volume, this person adds, creates, or cancels BMC, ASF, or DDU loads to ensure product arrival in a timely manner and insures correct trailer utilization.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent. College desirable.

- Practical field experience with knowledge in shipping and receiving, sorter applications, and offline applications

- Excellent communication skills and ability to convey information to all levels of employees including local and senior management

- Ability to build good working relationships and multi-task

- Time management, organizational, self-motivated, presentation, and computer skills (Microsoft Office)

- Basic knowledge of United States Postal Service regulations
