MATERIAL HANDLER-FORTUNE 500 COMPANY

The Opportunity: This position receives, selects, packs, stores, and distributes warehouse inventory and reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.  This position is located at our Springdale, Arkansas location.  Specific responsibilities are:

 

Responsibilities
.Selects or packs customer orders.
Loads or unloads delivery vehicles and assembles stock onto pallets, warehouse trucks, racks, or shelves.
Opens cartons, bundles, and other containers using hand tools.
Conveys stock to designated area by hand, handtruck, or nutting truck equipment.
Weighs, counts, and records units of stock to ensure conformance to customers standards.
Maintains warehouse in an orderly and clean state.

Requirements
High School Graduate or G.E.D preferred.
Six months to one year experience in warehouse or material handling.
Basic reading and math skills.
Attention to detail.
Knowledge of warehousing procedures and security regulations.
Ability to walk and move, freely and regularly lift 70 pounds of stock.
