Maintenance Technician

Saddle Creek Corporation, a premier 3rd party logistics provider throughout the SE and SW, US has an immediate opening at their Del Monte Facility in Fort Worth, Texas for a Maintenance Technician.  The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years or more maintenance warehouse experience (food grade warehouse operation a plus). Forklift certified and certification as a trainer a plus.  Candidate will perform general maintenance repairs on various equipment, to include, but not limited to, mechanical, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, A/C and painting. Must have basic knowledge of equipment such as forklift, roll doors, dock levelers and building maintenance. Must have the ability to construct, maintain and test equipment, machinery and components. Identify parts and machines that need new parts or need to be repaired or replaced. Places parts and work orders as necessary. Relies on instruction or pre-established guidelines to perform job. Job function requires exercising independent judgment. Works with minimal supervision and reports to Supervisor or Manager.

 

High School diploma or equivalent required. Must have basic knowledge of hand and power tools. Ability to define problems, and establish valid conclusion.
