 Description

GENCO has an immediate opening for an Manager of Inventory Control our 1.3 million sq. ft. distribution facility, located in McDonough, GA. Faciity will operate with approximately 100 teammmates.

The position is responsible for :


Ensuring completion of daily, weekly and monthly inventory reportsCoordination of Monthy/quarterly physical inventories and development of followup reportingGather and analyze data concerning operations, inventory control and customer requirementsPerformance of internal audits (additional) cycle counts to validate accuracy of cycle count processSupervising employeesEnsuring/reinforcing the GENCO employee culture is being fostered in the facilityAssuring attainment of facility production and quality objectivesFacilitating regular safety meetings and assuring the maintenance of a safe work environmentTraining/Updating employees on job functions/proceduresPreparing and reconciling required production and inventory reportsInsuring compliance with GENCO's Core Excellence ProgramProviding assistance for the Operations and/or General Manager on special projects as required



 Required Skills


The successful candidate will have:2-5 years experience in a Management/supervisory capacityExcellent organizational and analytical skillsPrioritization and problem solving skills essentialPrevious experience in inventory control/stock accountingStrong systems background, familiar with Oracle preferredAbility to plan for spikes and lows in day to day business and experience with reading/analyzing forecastMust have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to effectively interact with GENCO customers and employeesDemonstrated knowledge and user experience with Excel, Access, E-Mail, and Word DocumentsPrevious SAP based WMS/RF or related experience is preferredMust have ability to remain flexible in a dynamic work environmentA degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience would be a plus.
