Material Coordinator Supervisor

General Summary: Supervise the Material Coordinators in assigned area.  For the Branch the supervisor is located, they must also coordinates all warehouse activities ensuring the receipt, coordination and safety of goods coming through the warehouse by working directly with Operations. Ensures that orders arrive and are dispatched on time to the appropriate destinations and in the expected quantities. Performs a variety of complicated tasks, which include weekly cycle counts of inventory and an occasional inventory of all items.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

? Conduct weekly meetings with employees in area of supervision

? Approve all timesheets for employees in area of supervision

? Send monthly reports to Material Manager

? Pick items from inventory for Material Requests

? Receive shipments and route them to the appropriate place in warehouse

? Keep warehouse area neat and clean

? Perform daily cycle counts of inventory to ensure correct stock levels

? File all paperwork associated with all shipments

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

 

? High School diploma or GED

? Supervising experience

? 2-3 years of Telecom experience.

? Valid drivers license with a good driving record

? Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.

? Must have excellent customer service and communication skills

? Ability to work independently to install and solve product problems with minimal assistance.
